Bet you weren't ready for that
Real couple Kelly and Elizabeth modelled for our styled shoot at the Desert Compass Inn this past spring with travelling/elopement photographer, Erin Venable Photography.
The Desert Compass is a trendy vacation rental property in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It looks so cute and it would be a perfect wedding venue for any one of the boho dresses from my Southwest Bridal collection.
Kelly is wearing the Thunderbird gown and paired it with matching turquoise earrings and leather boots. Our model Kelly made the earrings she is modelling. They are campitos turquoise made with repurposed leather. Check out more of her work on Instagram @kellyhorriganhandmade
Fun Fact: The fringe on the Thunderbird gown has been updated with a brighter polyester fringe instead of the original cotton fringe that got too messy and wadded up after the first styled shoot. I love natural fibers just as much as anyone, but with dresses that are going to be worn multiple times, like my dresses for styled shoots, sometimes a manufactured fiber is the way to go to be time and cost-effective. With that being said, I absolutely recommend natural fibers (silk, cotton, linen) for your wedding day, since you are going to be only wearing them once and they are more luxurious.
Photographer Erin was looking for a fun elopement dress for her styled shoot just a month ago and I took on the challenge of creating a new dress specifically for the occasion!
Meet the Vegas dress!
This dress is made mostly from a refurbished vintage wedding skirt that I was gifted from a client. I did not have much time, and shipping during COVID has been hit and miss, so I had to work with what I had, but it worked out perfectly, so no regrets!
Cute couple, Hayley and Bryen rockin’ these looks!

I love to put some vintage inspiration into all of my designs, and the Audrey dress is no exception. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn, this strapless gown is unique with its textured chiffon fabric, bow like bodice design, and removable lace topper.
I always love to work with Aubré from Gypc Girl Photography, and was extra excited to have worked with her with her newest “Gypc Girl Wagen”!
I can’t decide if I love the bright pink and blue boho hues more or the gorgeous lighting in all of these photos!

My sister, Jes, recently eloped in San Francisco at City Hall. She came to me for her elopement dress that can be 'worn for other occasions'. Inspired by the popular self-portrait dress, I inserted ladder trim in between the bodice seams, and at the bottom hem.
The combination of the trim and the thick guipure lace was difficult to sew but was it rewarding to see it finished. We upgraded the dress with a unique 3D guipure lace. The dress is lined with a nude kona cotton that she matched with her heels and clutch. The pleating on the skirt gave us a a subtle bell shape that emphasized her waist.
Look at that bell shape
Of course, Rayna was there on the big day!
Just Married!
I also created some fun bridal accessories for the happy couple as well.
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Leffler!

Staci came to me looking for something fun and sexy and we came up with this deep 'V' faux wrap wedding dress.
Tea dyed alencon lace fabric
Pretty with pink details. Staci styled her dress magnificently with velvet pink Betsey Johnson heels, dainty gold jewelry, crstyal belt, and a gorgeous crystal headpiece.
I added lace appliques to all the edges of the bodice instead of hemming for a more romantic look. Keeping the back very open and lining free was another way we kept this dress on team sexy.
Wedding Bells!
