They are still completing a few things, but I was able to sneak in a styled shoot with model Berenice, HMUA Glamour Face by Anshu, and photographer Michelle B Photography before the event started.

The Kayla dress at Woodbine Mansion
I had the great opportunity recently to join a large vendor team at the Woodbine Mansion for a collaborative styled shoot where we made some magic!
The venue itself is being renovated again because this mansion has been in Austin since 1900! Each room is a surprise of gorgeous antique furniture and decor, every room unique in its own way. Some of my favorite details included a pink ceiling in one room, and a soft green ceiling in another, chandeliers everywhere, and memorable wallpaper.
Needless to say we all felt #blessed to be there and use their venue as the perfect location for our faux wedding.

Angel Springs Styled Photoshoot
So happy to share these amazing photos with you from a photoshoot with multiple photographers, florists, and model couples.
We all met at the beautiful wedding venue just outside of Austin in Georgetown, TX.
Angel Springs Event Center has a gorgeous rustic-chic look that was reminiscent of a fancy winery.
I was delighted to dress model Jordan below in a brand new design that I ended up naming after her because she fit and rocked it just as I designed. I can see why she chose her instagram handle to be ms_dimple93, look at those cute dimples!

Inspire Forum 2019
I was recently joined with other Austin wedding vendors for the 1st ‘Inspire Forum’ in ATX. Engaged couples were invited to the beautiful wedding venue in Round Rock at the Lone Oak Barn and were able to ask questions, get a taste from caterers and bartenders, and see in person wedding dresses, floral designs and everything else you will need for the perfect ATX wedding.
I chose these two dresses to show at the event because they show variety and that there are endless options when working with a custom made bridal designer.
But they are alike in many ways too. They both are made with silk fabric and for that reason are more delicate, soft, and luxurious than typical polyester gowns. They both also use unique materials from the tye-dye draped piece to the embroidered rose appliques.

If you live or have visited Austin, Texas, chances are you have gone to McKinney Falls. It is a Texas state park and one of Austin’s greatest natural beauties, with a waterfall and all.

Photoshoot at Jennifer's Garden
On December 14, I had the opportunity to work with some amazing Austin vendors to create some magic just in time for Christmas! Check them all out at the bottom of this post.
This was my first time going to Jennifer’s Garden in downtown Austin and I was very impressed. The inside is just as gorgeous and unique as their beautiful gardens.
This dress was all designed on my dress form opposed to how I usually design with a sketch. I am really proud of it for its simplicity and attention to detail. I sourced the fabric from an Austin vendor who was able to order me 100% Made in the USA Silks. The bottom of the dress is created with silk satin faced organza, a fabric I never used before, but was very excited about. The bodice is made with recycled lace from a clients custom order and the straps are silk charmeuse.
I met with our model Kayla Reed ahead of time at my studio so we could the perfect fit. I named the dress after her because she embodied what I want this dress to be, fun, free spirited, and gorgeous.
I love Christmas and love all the Christmas details Jazmin, our event planner, put together for this.

50's Style not Values
This dress was solely inspired by these authentic 1950's headpieces from stylist Melania Leocadia with styledbyML and WARLORDme.
I love the lace cutout off-the-shoulder 'sleeves' I created. They are so feminine and remind me of Cinderella's moms dress with the pink velvet bows.
There is also a hi-lo skirt with a 4" horsehair braid that is flirty and fun. It really shows off her vintage kitten heels.

Tannie was introduced to me years ago by a mutual friend of ours at one of my fashion shows. I immediately fell in love with her look and continued to work with her on shoots. We had such a similar style, she even purchased a couple custom pieces from me.
Tannie represents the Desireé Marie girl because she's confident, an entrepreneur, and absolutely gorgeous inside and out.

Can you believe we're almost in February? I've been busy in the new year, with 3 photoshoots already!
I first contacted my friend, Aubré Salas of Gypc Girl Photography, when I knew I needed some new shots of all these dresses I've been creating, and storing away in my closet.
Here is one that I am really proud of, and is near to my heart, because my Hungarian roots.

My grandfather, Julius, came to America from Hungary with his brother when he was only a teenager on a boat. When he met my grandmother, Marcia, she fell in love with his heritage and embroidered the pillow you see in this picture. I used tracing paper from another one of her designs to hand embroider the dress above.
I love hand embroidery, I find it very rewarding. I also have an embroidery machine for different looks, but some things just need to be done by hand.
The bodice fabric is natural recycled organic cotton, (Hemp and Polyester Muslin), and the skirt is an American made silk, and American made silk lining.
